This past weekend was my bonus dads 68th birthday. My sister & her family came up for the weekend & the boys & I went out to spend the day & celebrate his big day. Donna was unfortunately home with the stomach bug Caden & I had earlier in the week.
We weren't there but a minute before the kids all wanted to play in the pool. While they splashed around we got out the slip-n-slide to try out for the first time. None of the kids really grasped the concept of running & sliding so Uncle Steven helped them out...

After Uncle Steven got his workout in for the day, everyone was ready to go inside & eat.
The kids all played some more inside after eating. We sang Happy Birthday & had some 'Happy Birthday Cake' as the boys called it & then gave Papa his gift from all the grand-kids.

We stayed until Chandler & the boys could hardly maintain themselves anymore & then I decided to head home. The boys passed out in the backseat of the car & I'm sure Chandler had a good nap too.

It was a nice day & great that we could all get together to celebrate.
